Description of the Experience

Just 2 hours from Igatpuri in the western ghats of India, Bhandardara is a small hill station popular for its scenic views of the Bhandardara Lake. Born out of the Bhandardara Dam, the natural beauty, serenity, and grandeur of the lake are worth visiting. The camping experience by the Bhandardara lake gives you an escape from the chaos of life and breathe amidst nature. This gateway in the lap of nature begins from Bhandardara hill station where the travelers meet and start trekking towards the campsite. At the campsite, have a tent to yourself and enjoy the silent serenity of the lake. Connect with the fellow campers, lit a bonfire and play a variety of games under the starry night. Take time out to explore the forests, sit by the lake or hop on the boat for a fun ride too.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival at campsite and Campfire
  • 5 PM- Reach the camp base.
  • You will be allotted your camps, post which you can take some leisure time and explore the forest area around the campsite.
  • Return back to camp to enjoy the bonfire session with storytelling, singing, and dancing.
  • This will be followed by a session of BBQ, and then a delicious dinner post which you can retreat to your camps

    Day 2- Check-out
  • Wake up to the majestic view of the lake in the morning and get freshened up.
  • Check out after breakfast

  • This tour can be booked only for Friday and Saturday
  • Any personal expenses or items of personal nature are not included in the package cost
