Description of the Experience

Start your day with superb adventures in Kitulgala which is in West of Sri Lanka. Get up promptly toward the beginning of the day and Get from your Colombo hotel. Reach at Kitulgala for breakfast and You'll begin your trek to the characteristic stone pools at Kataran Oya when you're prepared. On the way, appreciate the area flora and fauna species and hear the birds calling across the rainforest. The water is cool, spotless and concealed in a quiet forest condition, and once you're done there, your guide will help you with some canoeing. Security instructions, just as wellbeing gear, will be given to you ahead of time so set yourself up for an enjoyable venture. This 5km drifting association with Kelani River is a heart-halting rush ride, where you'll pass through 5 noteworthy rapids and 4 minor rapids. Before being taken back to Colombo, you must trek back to the base in Kitulgala and then dropped off at your hotel.

  • 7:30am Have breakfast after reaching breakfast
  • Stay ready to enjoy a trek to Kataran Oya's natural rock pools and waterfalls, a 1.5 km ride. There are 7 natural pools where you can experience rock sliding (wearing safety gear) into the rock pool in a 5 meter waterfall
  • Enjoy faith to safely leap into a lovely rock pool and swim in the calm, clean waters
  • Gain some time to try your canoeing side
  • Discover a 5 km discover of white water rafting on the picturesque Kelani River, spanning 5 main rapids and 4 minor speeds. (Our whitewater rafting instructors shall give a safety briefing in advance)
  • 1:00 pm approx. Break for typical area lunch
  • 2:00pm enjoy a quick river swimming or chill
  • 3:30 pm reach at the landing zone of Kitulgala for your ride back to Colombo approx.
  • 6:00pm. Drop off at Colombo Hotel
