Description of the Experience

Striking St Paul's
The first stop on our tour is a visit to Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece and an iconic symbol of London. Standing 111m (366ft) tall, this colossal place of worship is one of the largest churches in the world and was the tallest building in London until the 1960s. St Paul's Cathedral is a veritable treasure trove of historical and religious artefacts, with several chapels located inside its walls and statues and beautiful works of art situated around every corner.

The Formidable Tower of London and Crown Jewels
Explore the fascinating history of one of London's most famous landmarks; a long, bloody history of murder, imprisonment and execution. Originally constructed almost 1,000 years ago as an imposing fortress by the newly-crowned William the Conqueror, over the years it has played the role of prison, royal mint and even a zoo.
The Crown Jewels, the most powerful symbols of the British Monarchy, hold a deep religious and cultural significance to Britain and its people. You'll get to see the stunning collection of jewels, gems and royal regalia that have been stored and on display here since 1661.

Gruesome Jack the Ripper
Later, we will take a trip to East London to explore some of the city's darker, more recent history. In the 19th century, this part of London was a hotbed of crime and vice and a favoured hunting ground for Jack The Ripper, London's most infamous serial killer.
Over three years between 1888 and 1891, eleven gruesome murders took place here by an assailant that was never caught. Follow in the footsteps of Jack The Ripper and visit the sites of some of the grisly murders.
Your expert tour guide will paint a picture of life in Victorian London and the victim's backgrounds, before revealing how they were murdered. Learn how the manhunt for the killer developed, and how the spate of murders caused panic in the streets of London.
Enjoy traditional fish and chips
Along the way, we will stop to enjoy a very traditional English dish at one of London's oldest, most authentic fish and chip restaurants. The dishes here are prepared using produce from local food markets for an authentic London taste.
