Description of the Experience
Following a pick-up from Cochin Airport, get transferred to Aleppey (approx 01.45 hrs)to board your houseboat. Cruise slowly through the backwaters and village areas to marvel at the lush vegetation, paddy fields, coconut palms, and more. There will be 3 staff members to look after you and make sure your experience is as relaxed as you could wish for.Enjoy a lunch of Keralan cuisine which includes Rice with Fish, Chicken,Vegetable dishes, Salad, Pappad and a sweet on Houseboat.Cruise ending at approximately 13:30 for the transfer to Fort Cochin to visit the Chinese Nets, St Francis Church and Basilica and later drive back to your destination. Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha, is located between the Arabian Sea and a web of rivers flowing into it. In the early 20th century, the then Viceroy of the Indian Empire, Lord Curzon was so mesmerized by the scenic beauty he declared that Alleppey was “The Venice of the East.”

Itinerary
- 7:30am approx. pick up from hotel / Cochin Port and transfer to Fort Cochin
- Visit the other attractions like Chinese Nets, Santa Cruz Basilica, St.Francis Church
- 9:30am approx. proceed to Aleppey by car
- 11:00am approx. board your houseboat and cruise through the backwaters and village areas of Kerala
- 12:00pm enjoy Keralan lunch onboard
- 1:30pm houseboat cruise ends and transfers to the city of Cochin by car
- Visits to Fort Kochi, Chinese nets, St. Francis Church, and Dhobi Khana
- 3:30pm approx. drop off to hotel / Cochin Port
Note
- For the pick-up, the driver will be holding a sign with your name on it for ease of identification
- One child under the age of 5 can join the tour for free of charge. Any other children under 5 years will pay 25% of the adult cost directly to the operator in cash
- Child ticket: Age 5 -10. Please mention the children's age at the time of check out
- Comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses/sunscreen, hats or scarf are recommended
- Hotel pick up and drop off are available only within Cochin city limits
