we booked an 8 hour ride through Alleppey backwater .The driver took us meticulously through the narrow passages and the villages all around where we could experience the first hand sight of the day today village life and people running their chores in the small boats. We also had a 'Shooting point' stop somewhere in the middle where we enjoyed fresh coconut water. The tour was very enchanting and no less than a dream!
