Description of the Experience

Spend a day away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok and take a tour around the town of Kanchanaburi. This town is known for its iconic Kanchanaburi Death Railway which was built during World War II as a project to facilitate the Japanese occupation of Burma. The bridge was made by the prisoners of war and the forced laborers and in the process, thousands of people lost their lives. The Kanchanaburi Death Railway marks the history and its presence even today. Further, you move to the Jeath War Museum to witness the pictorial depiction of World War II and its war stories. You can take a short train ride or walk on the sides of the River Kwai Bridge. The day tour also includes a short tour of the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery and a visit to the open space restaurant to taste the delicious Thai food while enjoying the view of the River Kwai Bridge.
