It has a reputation as a backpacking centre and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.
Did this trek last month it was one of the best trekking experiences,I've done various trekking in the himalayas but this Hampta pass trek is very beautiful.
We all went Solang Valley in the month of June and the view was very good. Nice place for paragliding as well you can see all of the nearby high peaks so if you are into mountaineering it is advisable to go up and have a look around the magnificent view during paragliding
Beautiful place with an amazing trek. It is an excellent challenge for trekk beginners
Great trek for everyone..Will be a little tiring if it's your first time. Trek gets steep, especially when you are near the top. There are a few small tea shops along the way.. However, the experience is awesome and mesmerizing... Beautiful & amazing view of the Dhauladhar ranges is worth the effort ..This was my first trekking experience which turned out to be great..We trekked in December so it was slightly slippery due to the snow covered rocks on the way.
The place is nice and has a nice view .The place is nature filled and good to visit the place on the tour.Meandering through breath-taking mountain-sides, the Beas river flows along the road-side. Singing a delightful melody of it's own, it gushes down lush green slopes
