About Udaipur
Udaipur – is the city of lakes a major metropolitan area of Rajasthan. Earning title as "the most romantic spot in India”, the city has abundance of Rajput-era palaces and temples. This lake city has been fond of folk dance and music since ancient times resulting in its cultural richness. Miniature paintings – something that the Rajputs were deeply affectionate about, some of which are seen as frescoes in the old palaces. Voted as the Best City in the World in 2009 by the Travel + Leisure magazine – Udaipur also exhibits plenty of national and international events, recently hosting the first edition of India's World Music Festival with artists around the globe. Immerse yourself in the lustrous waters of Lake Pichola appreciating the awestruck Taj property, and admire the mind-blowing structures of City Palace – a complex housing palaces and museums facing the lake. A visit to Shilpgram will be no less than epic – an ethnic open-air museum depicting the day-to-day lifestyle of the tribal people in the region creating an insight towards the rural culture. Royalty reflects in the Rajasthani Thalis (plate full of varieties of cooked vegetables alongside Indian breads) too, hence this is a serious affair if you a true foodie at heart and soul.

I don't have words to explain the beauty of the temple. One of very astonished temples in Rajasthan. This is one of the best examples of stone carving that I have ever seen anywhere on the planet. In my opinion, the stone carving in India is by far the best anywhere on the planet and this is a fine example of it. The detailed carving of the marble is stunning. the detail is exquisite. This is a place not to be missed if you are in Rajasthan.

Great show,it is a great introduction to the culture of mewar..walking distance from jagdish chowk area..reach early to grab best seats as they do fill up very fast as it's very popular show. They have created a beautiful ambience and the way those dancers has shown performance every one can fall in love with the rajasthani culture.They have shown all the dance forms with their significance. So it's a must visit place in udaipur.
