Description of the Experience

Khao Phing Kan Island in Krabi is often lovingly called as the James Bond Island. This is because of the Tapu Island in Khao Phing Kan that was a backdrop for the James Bond movie “The Man with the Golden Gun”. The tourists visit here to experience the grandeur of the Krabi islands just like they saw in the movies. A dull day speedboat tour to the Khao Phing Kan Island takes you through the limestone karsts risings that create a scenic look amidst the sea. On landing on the island we head straight to Phang Nga Bay and Tapu Island which offer a stunning frame of James Bond’s iconic scenes. After a visit to the scene, you take time to explore the bay and ride on the boat and spot distinctive rock formations, sea canoes, tunnels, and limestone karsts.Tapu Island offers a number of scenic wonders hidden in nature with the karsts and sea canoes. With large rocks and secret lagoons, it’s a mighty exploration journey. On the way back make a halt at the Panyi Village to capture the serenity of the fascinating village that is constructed entirely on slits over water. You can go fishing at the Village Koh Panyee. A hop on the archeologically hit and historic Suwan Khuha Monkey Cave Temple which is a popular temple and cave for monkeys playing all over. The trip ends with a tour back to the Krabi islands.
