Description of the Experience

The Golden City of Jaisalmer within the heart of the Thar Desert is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. It is known for its havelis and forts. The heritage walk through the city includes all these sites that are located within a two to four km radius of each other. The conducted walk begins at Gadisar Lake and then continues to the Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli, Mandir Palace and Bada Bagh. The entire tour lasts for almost three hours. Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes, and bring essentials like drinking water, handkerchief and camera for clicking images.
