Arrive at the Base camp at Maney Bhanjyang in the eastern part of Indo-Nepal border in the Himalayan ranges for an exotic trekking trip for 7 days. With this amazing and exhilarating trip, you will conquer the paths to Tumling and Tonglu, Gahiribas or Kalpokhri, Kalpokhri, Sandhakphu and Phalut. Indulge to see the ravishing sights presented before you at Gorkhey and Srikhola also while you tread through some of the untamed trekking paths. You will get back to Darjeeling to end the remarkable adventurous tour of the Himalayas. Food, accommodation and transportation during the trek wherever necessary will be included in the package.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -
    Arrive at the Base camp in Maney Bhanjyang Arrive at the Bagdogra Airport/NJP, get shuttled to the charming town called Maney Bhanjyang on the Indo-Nepal Border. After reaching there, you will be checked into a home stay, settle down and relax for the rest of the day.
  • Day 2 -
    Trek from Maney Bhanjyang to Tumling and Tonglu Kick-start the adventure with a trek to Tumling/Tonglu along an ascending trail, which takes almost 6 to 7 hours. Have a halt at Chitray and enjoy the sight of a serene and mystic 70 year old Buddhist monastery.
  • Day 3 -
    Trek from Tumling/ Tonglu to Gahiribas and Kalpokhri From Tonglu your adventure continues towards Kalpokhri, which could take 7-8 hours. Trek up to the tiny settlement of Gahribas passing through beautiful bamboo glades and enchanting forests. Trek from Gahribas to Kalpokhri which will take 2 hours to complete.
  • Day 4 -
    Kalpokhri to Sandhakphu Start trekking from Kalpokhri to Sandakphu, through lush forests filled with rich rhododendrons. Reach the crest of Singalila range which will take your breath away. Have the sight of some mystic mountains like Mt.Everest, Makalu and Mt. Kanchenjunga.
  • Day 5 -
    Sandhakphu to Phalut Trek to Phalut which is the highest peak in the Singalila range, have a magical journey from Sandakphu. You will have to walk up through a steady climb for about 5 hours, and then the trails start to zigzag through hills and you will reach the trekker hut from where Phalut is a 20 minute walk away.
  • Day 6 -
    Phalut to Gorkhey Continue your enchanting adventure with a mesmerising trek to Rammam, pass through some thick forests and vegetation. More challenges come along your way to reach Gorkhey, where you can spot Gorkhey Khola stream and the Rammam river. Stay overnight in the camps in Rammam.
  • Day 7 -
    Trek to Srikhola and then drive to Darjeeling Start on the last lap of this lovely adventure from Gorkhey, trek on level grounds for almost 9 kilometer and descend towards Srikhola. Afterwards, take a drive up to Siliguri/Darjeeling, and mark the end of the fascinating trek.
