About Antalya

Antalya is the largest city on the Turkish Mediterranean coast, and is one of the hubs of the so-called Turkish Riviera. Antalya has ever attracted a wide array of travellers, including Paul the Apostle, and Ibn Battuta among others. Antalya had replaced Phaselis—beautiful ruins of which now lie to south of the city, between Kemer and Olympos—as the main harbour of the surrounding region during the reign of Seljuks, in early 1200s, but the lack of a large hinterland (or, rather, lack of good connections with its mountainous hinterland) meant for much of its history eversince that it was a provincial coastal town, albeit with a multicultural community of Muslims, Christians, and Jews

What people are saying about Antalya

"The trip was great, the guide amazing and the location’s perfect."

Turkey is fantastic,Just the last year we have been in Turkey 3 times Antalya twice.Everybody is so child friendly and helpful it's really amazing and the climate is very good The sea is clear blue.. I just loved the whole experience

"Breathtakingly beautiful"

Visited for a day excursion including a speedboat through the steepest part of the gorge, off-road Jeep Safari & white water rafting. The gorge is absolutely stunning with amazing steep cliff sides and crystal clear water The river where the rafting took place is also beautiful and when we weren’t screaming through the rapids it was very tranquil with the mountains and forest all around. We have been to this part of Turkey several times but for some reason never visited the canyon before. However, we all agreed it was one of the highlights of the holiday. A definite for adrenaline junkies and for those who want to get away from the coast and see some beautiful scenery.

"Authentic Turkish Bath"

Sefa hamam was the highlight of my trip to Antalya ! It’s a must ! The place is very clean and the staff are super friendly and professional they make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The massage was amazing specially after a long day of touring and shopping. This turkish bath is highly recommended

"Really enjoyed it"

Really a beautiful place to see. The excursion was as described. Had no issues. My son really enjoyed the fishing and there was someone kind enough to offer my son a demo of what to do with the rod as it was his first time. Thank you leamigo

"INTERESTING PLACE TO VISIT"

It is a nice place to visit but it is also very crowded and very hot in the summer. Advice: Ware a cap or a hat because there is no place with shadow! There are some restaurants with mid prices where you can drink something or eat a nice turkish ice cream.
