About Jaisalmer
Situated close to the Pakistan Border, Jaisalmer is a major tourist spot located in the northwestern state of Rajasthan in India. Jain temples are located inside Jaisalmer Fort and its a must-visit. There are seven Jain temples in total which are built during the 12th and 15th centuries AD. These temples are dedicated to different Jain Tirthankaras. The temples are built out of yellow sandstone and have intricate engravings on them.
